Kanda-fureai-bashi is a footbridge over Kanda-gawa River.

Yanagimori Shrine

Yanagimori shrine is a small Shinto shrine located beside the Kanda-gawa River.

It takes about five minutes from JR Akihabara station to the shrine on foot.

There are statues of racoon dogs in the pricinct of the shrine.

Many Gacha(capsule toy) vending machines are lined in front of Biccamera AKIBA.
Although, in Akihabara,  there are many stores and amusement arcades which install a lot of Gacha machines, those Gacha machines on the main street are eye-catching.

Sofmap is a consumer electronics retailer.
There are several Sofmap stores in Akihabara.
Sofmap AKIBA #1 is specialized in selling Otaku (anime, idol) goods and used mobiles.

You can go there from Akihabara station's central exit very easily.

That building which is in center of this photo is the Volks shop in Akihabara.
On all floor of the building, ｔhey sell hobby goods such as figures, plastic models, garage kits and so on.

A steel viaduct for Sobu line over Shohei-bashi intersection.
It was built in 1932, and has been one of the landmark in Akihabara.

On that day, it was fine in the daytime, but the clouds threatened rain when evening fell.
