I took this photo on the way from JR Akihabara station to Yanagimori shrine.

Kanda-fureai-bashi is a footbridge over Kanda-gawa River.

Yanagimori Shrine


Yanagimori shrine is a small Shinto shrine located beside the Kanda-gawa River.

It takes about five minutes from JR Akihabara station to the shrine on foot.




There are statues of racoon dogs in the pricinct of the shrine.

Landing Place for Shogun at Hamarikyu Gardens

Hamarikyu Gardens is located at the mouth of the Sumida river.
The garden was a family garden of Tokugawa Shogun.
A landing place for Shogun visiting the garden by boat still remains.

Shohei bridge(Shohei-bashi) is a bridge across Kanda-gawa River.
It is located between Mansei bridge and Hijiri bridge
You can see JR Sobu line's steel viaduct over the river.

"mAAch ecute" Kanda Manseibashi in Winter Illumination (2)



This photo was taken in almost same composition as the one I have already posted on this blog as "View from Mansei bridge".
I tried to capture it again in the illumination.
That arch viaduct is the remains of former Manseibashi train station, and It was reborn in 2013 as a commercial facility named "mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi".

You can see Manseibashi railway viaduct along the river.
I like the red bricks of the viaduct.
