North Side Wall of Yushima-Seido
A roofed mud wall of Yushima Seido along the street.
If you go down the sloop, you will be in Akihabara electric town around five minutes.

View of Yushima-Seido
Yushima-Seido is a Confucian temple located in the Yushima neighborhood.
I took these photos near the northern end of Hijiri-bashi which is a bridge on Kanda-gawa River.
From this angle, you can realize that the temple was designed utilizing the height difference of the land.

Ume Blossoms in the Cloudy Morning at Yushima Tenjin Shrine
I visited Yushima Tenjin Shrine last Monday to view Ume blossoms.
I got there around 8 A.M. and it was cloudy, so the grounds of the shrine was calm.

Nyutoku-mon Gate with Autumn leaves
Nyutoku-mon Gate is the only wooden architecture in Yushima-Seido that is a Confucian temple located in Yushima district, Bunkyo ward.
This gate was built 1704 and still remains.
In late Autumn trees by the gate have colorful leaves.

Yushima Tenjin and Chrysanthemums
Yushima Tenjin Shrine is a Shinto shrine located on Yushima district.
The Bunkyo Chrysanthemum Festival, one of the five big flower festival in Bunkyo ward, is held at the shrine annually.

Among the tall buildings, you can see dome of Nikolai-do (Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Tokyo).

Yushima Tenjin Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Bunkyo ward.
The shrine is well known for its beautiful Ume blossoms.
This year,the shrine is lighted up during Bunkyo Ume blossom festival.

If you go down the slope, you will be close to the Akihabara Electric Town.

Taiseiden is the main building of Yushima-Seido.
Yushima-Seido is a Confucian temple located in Yushima district, Bunkyo ward, and it is also a historical site of a school established by Tokugawa Shogunate in Edo period.
