View of Tatsumi turret and  buildings on Marunouchi district.
Tatsumi turret is a two storied turret of former Edo castle.
That building behind the turret is Palace Hotel Tokyo that is a luxury hotel newly rebuilt in 2012.

Ote-mon Gate and the Moat

This gate used to be a gate of Edo castle, and it is an entrance to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace now.
I took this photo before 9 a.m., so the gate was closed.
Ote-bori moat is an former Edo castle's inner moat, and it lies between Ote-mon gate and Hirakawa-mon gate.

Ninomaru Garden after Rain

Ninomaru garden is a Japanese-style garden located on the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace.
After a rain, the garden was quiet, and the still pond reflected fresh green leaves.

Marunouchi Naka-dori Street in Drizzle

In drizzle, trees on the street look more vivid, and the stone pavement look more beautiful.

Marunouchi Nka-dori street is the main street in Marunouchi district.

Garden in Shibamata Taishakuten Temple

This Japanese style garden is located at the back of the main hall of Shibamata Taishakuten temple.
You can view the garden from the exterior corridor which surround the garden.

Wood Carvings at Shibamata Taishakuten Temple

There is a temple hall named Taishakudo in Shibamata Taishakuten temple.
Outer walls of the hall are decorated with many beautiful carvings.
Especially, ten carved wood panels set on the walls are stunning.
Those are scenes in the stories from Lotus Sutra.

Taishakudo and the Pine Tree

When you go through the main gate of Shibamata Taishakuten temple, you will see the temple hall named Taishakudo infront of you.
There is a large Japanese black pine tree by the hall.
